Vantage Compute co-founder James Beedy created Charmed HPC, the open-source charms for deploying Slurm clusters on Ubuntu, now maintained by Canonical. Vantage Compute builds its node images on Ubuntu and ships charms alongside Ansible roles to deploy its agents.
